KGNU (NPR) has very good radio programs. They always have lively, upbeat music - and it is always something new that I've never heard before or don't hear on other radio stations, like middle-eastern qawwali-ish type of music, or Indian sitar music, or Chicha Libre. They also have very good speakers - on American foreign policy, or linguistics, or on Obama and Muslim-Americans. Their news seems very well researched and well thought-out.
