This is not a flower, it's really a llama

Family and friends

My husband and I live in Boulder, CO. In absence of children or pets, we have a stuffed llama. It sounds sad, but it isn't. The llama is pretty awesome.  And very low-maintenance.

My husband is learning Chinese, and likes to play guitar and tennis.

My husband's parents live nearby in Broomfield, CO, with a cute dog named Penny. His dad likes baskbetball, biking, and tennis.  His mom does grief counseling.  His sister, B, is studying to be a Physician's Assistant in Phoenix, AZ. She's getting married to her boyfriend and they'll be moving into a new home in Flagstaff, AZ.

My mom and dad live in Santa Barbara, CA.  My dad researches wind turbine blade design.  My mom is currently in Florida helping my dad's parents out, who just came over from Ambala, India.

My brother and his wife live in Broomfield, CO, and recently moved there from Colorado Springs. My brother is interested in learning more about business.  His wife is an elementary school teacher, who moved here from New Zealand.

My mom, dad, and then-three-year-old brother moved to the US from Bangalore, India in the 80s, so my dad could pursue his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering at University of Maryland.

Most of my friends read this blog.  All of them are awesome.
