This is not a flower, it's really a llama

Library

Libraries are great places.  Unlike a store, where only consumers are usually welcome, everyone is welcome to the library.  People share books and knowledge, using them as long as they need them, and returning them to the community pool when done.  It'd be nice if this was done with more than books!

The Boulder Public Library is especially nice, because it is located next to the beautiful Boulder Creek.  I really like the Boulder Creek area too, because people seem relaxed and happy there.  It's nice to sit for hours and watch the creek go by.  A lot of large families come (with little kids and grandparents, too), and the whole family enjoys the creek together.

Anyway, the point of all this rambling is that we went there last weekend, and got a nice book called "What Character Is That?" that lists the Chinese characters by their radicals.  We also got the last volume of Tintin, which contains The Castiafore Emerald, Flight 714, and Tintin and the Picaros (the latter two are some of my favorite Tintins).  We also got Death Note, a book our friend Nanami recommended to us.  It is a really good action graphic novel!
