No more stupid comments on fruit for now :-)
I feel frustrated with disconnect between ideals and what seems achievable. How is it possible to stop all the suffering in the world? Is it necessary that someone will always suffer at someone else's gain? Also how can a person keep an open mind and kind attitude to somebody else who is trying to coerce them into a viewpoint they fundamentally disagree with? Why is it that people who hold cynical, bigoted, bleak, or super-materialistic viewpoints owe no explanations to anyone, but people with idealistic, humanistic, or optimistic viewpoints are forced to explain and justify their own rights to hold those beliefs for themselves to everyone? The latter are no less realistic and no less backed by empirical evidence than the first.
